Podcasts Archive

Ok, the podcasts have been slowing down a little bit lately and there’s a reason for it which will be revealed in time. I’ve always said that I would stop this whole Wine Country BC thing if I ever run out of ideas. That has *not* happened. What I have run out of is *time* and there are a whole bunch of reasons for that. Creating a podcast takes a lot of time. I would guess that every 15 minutes of podcast takes about an hour of production time (recording, voice overs, assembly, uploading, and manually coding the feed – which I don’t have to do anymore but did for the first 60 or so episodes…) and that doesn’t include the phone calls to the gang or setting up and travelling to meet guests to record an interview.

I have completed all the archive pages and so everything is accessible again without having to scroll back to every post. Podcasts are available on iTunes and at FeedBurner and I also have a YouTube channel which has tastings and videos from around the Okanagan Valley.

You can also listen to the podcasts directly on the website. Simply click on the player icon and it will play on your computer. You may also download the MP3 directly from the website by visiting our podcast archives. Right-click on the link, and then select “Save target as…”, save it in a location that is easy to find (like your desktop) and copy it onto your MP3 player of choice. Easy peasy. Enjoy!
